Mr Simos Persidis

I am a PhD candidate at the School of Economics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR). I received my Diploma from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR). I also hold a MSc in Business and Economics from the School of Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR).
The focus of my PhD is the study of electricity markets and the characteristics of power prices using dimensionality reduction econometric techniques.

 

 

 

 

Mr Michael Seitaridis

Mr Michael I. Seitaridis is a PhD candidate  at the School of Economics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR). He received his BSc in International and European Studies from the University of Macedonia (GR) and his MSc in Business and Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR), under the scholarship of “National Bank of Greece 2+2” and the State Scholarships Foundation (“IKY”). Since 2014, he has been working at the National Bank of Greece.

His scientific research focuses mainly on advanced statistical models for panel and time series data analysis in topics such as energy economics, financial markets and public economics and their implications in investment decision process and risk management.

 

 

 

 

Mr Dimitrios Dimitriadis

I am a PhD  candidate in Applied Econometrics with environmental applications at the School of Economics, Aristotle  University of Thessaloniki (GR). I received my postgraduate diploma in European and International Economics (2016) from the School of Economics and a graduate degree (2011) from the School of Mathematics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In my postgraduate dissertation, I investigated long-run and short-run causalities between GPD and carbon emissions as well as their effects on health quality in developing countries.

 

 

 

 

Mr Vasilis Grigoriadis

Mr Vasilis Grigoriadis is a PhD Candidate in Applied Microeconomics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), School of Economics. He holds a BSc in Economics (majored in economic theory and policy, 2010, AUTH) and a MSc in Economic and Regional Development (2013, AUTH). His research interests cover a wide range of topics, including time series analysis, price transmissions, agriculture economics, complex economic systems (econophysics) and network economics.
