Energy matters are not the responsibility of a single government, public authority or scientific community. They call for integrated solutions, which can only be given by transferring knowledge and best practices between disciplines quite often seen unrelated.
Our aspiration was to put together an international and highly inter-disciplinary team of experts in various domains (economics, energy meteorology, econometrics, financial markets and power systems) to foster the development of advanced tools and techniques for energy and climate risk mitigation.
